This facility is currently under a Boil Water Notice

     Underlying Problems: Unsatisfactory bacteriological water results (87 total coliforms present) received from the Headquarters sampling sites. Water source reclassified as GARP. Treatment required to meet 43210 objectives.
     Steps Taken to Remedy: Water users to be informed of the Boil Water Notice. Signage to be posted. Operator advised to shock chlorinated the well and flushed out the distribution lines. EHO has conducted ground water screen. Operator working towards installing treatment. Samples for water chemistry analysis are underway.
     Corrective Actions Remaining: Submit bacteriological water samples from all sampling sites (Lakelse Provincial Park Headquarters) after disinfection. Next steps will be assessed upon receipt of these water results. Operator needs to submit construction permit for installing treatment to meet 43210 objectives.
