Licensing received a complaint on February 16 and February 18, 2022, regarding care and supervision. The following details were provided: - The Manager uses inappropriate guidance practices - Staff restrain children - Children are not grouped according to schedule E. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews and observations. Licensing determined the following contraventions: Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) section 34 (2)(a) Group sizes and employee to children ratios. - CCLR section 51(2)(a) Behavioural guidance - CCLR section 52(1)(b) Harmful actions not permitted - Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) Section 7(1)(b) |
