Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on July 8, 2020, regarding care and supervision. The following concerns were alleged:
- Inadequate care and supervision

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was collected through interviews and a review of records.
Licensing determined the following contraventions:
- Child Care Licensing Regulation Section 58(1)(a-c)(i)(ii) - Care Plans

Observation: A care plan including a diagnoses for a child requiring extra support was not available.

19220 - CCLR s.58(1)(b)A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.
Observation: A care plan identifying courses of action required to address the needs of a child requiring extra support was not available.

19230 - CCLR s.58(1)(c)(i)A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (c) the resources to be made available to the child requiring extra support by the licensee, including (i) any adaptation of the community care facility necessary to ensure the child's safety or comfort.
Observation: A care plan for a child identifying resources and adaptations of the facility required was not available for a child requiring extra support.

19240 - CCLR s.58(1)(c)(ii)A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (c) the resources to be made available to the child requiring extra support by the licensee, including (ii) any modification to the program of activities necessary to enable the child to participate in or benefit from the program.
Observation: A care plan identifying resources and modifications to the program was not available for a child requiring extra support.
