Community Care Facilities Licensing [CCFL] received a complaint on August 5, 2020 alleging concerns regarding Care and Supervision. The allegations included the following details: - A staff member was heard yelling outside and was observed to hit a child on the back of the head. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from video footage of the incident, interviews, an inspection of the physical facility and documentation. The following contraventions were substantiated: - Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) Section 51(1)(a) Behavioural Guidance - CCLR Section 19(2)(b) Staffing Requirements |
