Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on April 20, 2022, regarding care and supervision. The following details were provided:
- Staff used inappropriate guidance strategies.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews and observations. Licensing determined the following contraventions:
Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) section 51(1)(a) Behavioural guidance

Observation: Behaviour guidance was not age and developmentally appropriate to the child receiving the guidance.

14240 - CCLR s.51(2)(a)If the child has a care plan that includes instructions respecting behavioural guidance, the licensee must ensure that (a) any behavioural guidance given to the child is consistent with those instructions.
Observation: Behaviour guidance was not consistent with instructions in a child's care plan
