CCFL received a complaint on July 5, 2019 alleging concerns related to staffing, care & supervision. The following details were provided: - exceeding the maximum capacity of children - inadequate employee to child ratio - unqualified employee caring for children All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. CCFL conducted interviews & reviewed facility records. Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) determined the following contraventions to the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR): - CCLR section 19(1)(a) – Character & skill requirements - CCLR section 19(4)(a) – Character & skill requirements - CCLR section 39(1) – Continuous supervision required - CCLR section 56(1)(b) – Community care facility records & policies Immediate corrective action was taken to address some contraventions. A corrective action plan is required to be submitted. CCFL to conduct follow-up inspection to ensure compliance. |
