Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on January 11, 2021, alleging concerns regarding physical facility, care and supervision, and records and reporting.

The allegations included the following details:
- Child not provided age appropriate materials and equipment
- Facility unable to meet the needs of the child
- Height and weight of the child is taken monthly
- Play equipment located on unevan surface which poses a safety risk
- Manager's name not posted in the facility

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews, observations and reviewing documentation.
Licensing determined the following contraventions:
- Child Care Licensing Regulation Section 13(1) Environment
- Child Care Licensing Regulation Section 56(1)(f) Records

Observation: Licensing determined that certain play equipment may pose a risk to children in care.

19050 - CCLR s.56(1)(f)A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (f) a log of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H.
Observation: Licensing determined that there was no log of minor incidents.
