Licensing received a complaint on January 11, 2021, alleging concerns regarding physical facility, care and supervision, and records and reporting. The allegations included the following details: - Child not provided age appropriate materials and equipment - Facility unable to meet the needs of the child - Height and weight of the child is taken monthly - Play equipment located on unevan surface which poses a safety risk - Manager's name not posted in the facility All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews, observations and reviewing documentation. Licensing determined the following contraventions: - Child Care Licensing Regulation Section 13(1) Environment - Child Care Licensing Regulation Section 56(1)(f) Records |
