Community Care Facilities Licensing [CCFL] received a complaint on May 5, 2021, alleging concerns of care and supervision. The allegations included the following details: - A staff allegedly hit a child in the face. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews; an inspection of the physical facility and documentation. The following contraventions were substantiated: - Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) · Section 51(1) Behavioural Guidance · Section 52(1) Harmful actions not permitted · Section 56(2) Community care facility records and policies |
