Report of Findings
On March 6, 2021, Licensing received a concern regarding Care and Supervision, Staffing, and Records and Reporting. The complainant provided the following details:

Care and Supervision:
- Insufficent supervision

Licensing:
- Payment records were not provided to parents
- Insuffiicent and inappropriate communication regarding the children's day
- Policies not being followed regarding emergency response

Physical facility:
- Front door broken providing access to facility

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews. Licensing determined the following contravention:
- Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) Care Plans section 58(2) The Licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation.

Observation: Review of the daily communication book had no written record of the day to day events.

19051 - CCLR s.56.1(2)(a)A licensee must keep (a) a copy of the written statement, referred to in section 19 of the Act, that the licensee delivers to persons who prepay part of the cost of services
Observation: Parent was required to sign an new payment agreement without the amount on the form.
Corrective action: Corrective action required.
