Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing received a complaint on November 27, 2023 regarding the physical facility, equipment, and furnishings.  
  
All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was gathered through an interview and on-site inspection.  
 
Licensing confirmed that a heater on a window ledge was not secured and flammable material was placed in front of heaters.  
 
A contravention to section 13(1) of the Child Care Licensing Regulation (Environment) was determined.

Observation: Through observations it was determined that flammable materials were placed directly in front of the heaters. In addition, a heater located on a window sill was not secured which may result in a potential injury
