Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing received a complaint on February 26, 2024, regarding Physical Facility, Equipment and Furnishings.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was gathered and reviewed through interviews and an on-site inspection.

Licensing confirmed that an outdoor sandbox was covered with plywood boards, which presented a risk of slipping, splinters and pinching of fingers.

A contravention to Section 13(1) (Environment) of the Child Care Licensing Regulation was determined.
