Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: At time of inspection, pH tested at 7.85. Corrective Action: Ensure pH is maintained between 7.2 and 7.8 as per the B.C. Pool Regulation [s.10(2)]. High pH levels will reduce the effectiveness of the Free Available Chlorine. |
101 | Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Total alkalinity tested slightly over 120 ppm (128 ppm). Total alkalinity tested at 110 ppm the previous night. Staff assured the total alkalinity will decrease by the end of the day. Corrective Action: Ensure total alkalinity is maintained between 80 and 120 ppm as per the B.C. Pool Regulation [s.10(2)]. Maintaining total alkalinity within this range will help to prevent pH bounce. |
