Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101  Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Free available chlorine (FAC) measured <0.01ppm
Corrective Action: Hot Tub must be closed immediately. Disinfectant is not detectable. FAC must be maintained at 1.0ppm to 5 ppm. It is recommended that FAC is maintained between 3.0ppm-5.0ppm.
101  Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Pool water clarity is poor. Water is cloudy. cynauric acid=115ppm.
Corrective Action: Recommend draining pool, refilling, then rebalancing pool chemistry. Cyanuric acid must be <80ppm. Hot tub is closed until proper cyanuric acid concentrations are maintained and poor water is clear. Please make plans to move gtoward using non-stabilized chlorine. Stabilized chlorine adds cyanuric acid to pool, which is not necessary for an indoor pool and may lead to 'chlorine lock.' Contact your chemical supplier/professional. This may require replacing existing erosion feeder.
104  Critical Improper Turnover of Flow Rate
Observation: Inadequate Flow rate. Flow rate measured 25 GPM according to flow meter. Hot tub is designed with a minimum flow rate of 35 GPM to achieve proper turnover. Sandfilter differential pressure measured 20psi. According to manufacturer's plate, the filter must be back washed when the differential pressure is 6-8 psi above starting pressure.
Corrective Action: Ensure starting differential pressure is marked. Ensure the flow is maintained at 35GPM to achieve adequate turnover.
203   Inadequate or Lack of up-to-date Pool Safety Plan
Observation: Inadequate Pool Safety Plan. Pool Safety Plan lacks procedures for emergency response, operating procedures for the pool, and proper cleaning and maintenance directions and frequency.
Corrective Action: Contact your local Environmental Health Officer if you have any questions. Submit your plans to your local EHO for approval.
205  Critical Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests
Observation: Operator's Taylor Test Kit is in poor condition. Sampling tube is dark and appears to be stained from reagents.
Corrective Action: Replace Test Kit to ensure that accurate pool water chemistry can be measured.
205   Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests
Observation: No alkalinity measurements have been made in last two months, according to pool chemistry log.
Corrective Action: Alkalinity must be measured at least weekly and total should be maintained between 80-120ppm
206   Inadequate or Lack of Posted Rules and/orSignage
Observation: Inadequate signage.
Corrective Action: Pool rules must include the following rule: indicating: Patrons are prohibited from entering pool with an illness, including open sores, bandages, head colds, discharging ears or noses or infected eyes.
401   Note Violation
Observation: REPEAT - Floating weir is not operational. Weir observe completely submerged below water line.
Corrective Action: Repair or replace.
