| 402 | Critical Inadequate pH controls Observation: pH measured > or = 8.0ppm with Taylor Test Kit. Hot tub was closed at the time of inspection. Operator added "pH-Down" product directly into the pool at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Ensure you wait 2-4 hours with jets turned on before retesting. After which, pH should be tested to verify that the pH is no less than 7.2, and no greater than 7.8. pH must be tested and recorded at least twice daily. * Verify FAC, CAC and alkalinity are at proper concentrations before reopening. |
