On August 30th, 2019, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns regarding care and supervision. The allegations included the following details: - Staff failed to monitor a person in care, which resulted in a fall. - Staff failed to follow a person in care’s care plan, which required the use of personal protection equipment. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from records, written statements, inspection, and a review of a CCTV recording. The following contraventions were determined: - Residential Care Regulation, Section 81(4)(b)(i), Care Plan if more than 30 day stay - RCR, Section 82, Implementation of care plans |
