Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on October 13, 2023 concerning care and supervision.  
 
All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Licensing conducted interviews and reviewed facility records. 
 
Licensing confirmed the following:  
- A child in care was dropped off at the facility but unaccounted/missing for two hours  
- The child was found unharmed within the facility
  
A contravention to section 7(1)(b)(i) of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (Care and Supervision)

Observation: A child in care was dropped off at the facility but was unaccounted for two hours before found unharmed.
Corrective action: A Licensee must ensure the health, safety and dignity of children in care is maintained at all times which includes an effective system of supervision at all times.
