Report of Findings
On April 13, 2021, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns related to policies and procedures, medication, and care and supervision. The allegations included the following details:

Policies and Procedures:
- There were charges to an account that should not have been applied

Medications:
- Medications were not administered as requested

Care and Supervision:
- Systemic issues related to the care of a person in care and meeting their care needs

All areas of the complaint were thoroughly investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews, person in care records, and correspondence with the facility.

The following contraventions were determined:
- Residential Care Regulation - Section 61 Self-monitoring of community care facility
- Residential Care Regulation - Section 81(4)(a) Care plan needed if more than 30 day stay

Observation: It was determined there were instances of missing documentation.

34740 - RCR s.81(4)(a)A licensee must ensure that (a) the implementation of each care plan is monitored on a regular basis to ensure proper implementation.
Observation: It was determined the Activities of Daily Living sheet could not be located which would have documented specific care needs for the person in care.
