Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing received a complaint on April 26, 2024, alleging concerns related to licensing, and care and supervision.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was gathered and reviewed through interviews, facility records and on-site observations.

It was confirmed that a child in care was involved in an incident where their finger was stuck in the door jam.

Licensing determined the following contravention to the Community Care and Assisted Living Act: section 7(1)(b)(i), Standards to be maintained.

Observation: Child in care was involved in an incident where their finger was stuck in the door jam. Previous injury to children's fingers was identified but not addressed.
Corrective action: Ensure a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times.
