Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing received a complaint on November 28, 2023 regarding  Care and Supervision.  
 
All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews and documentation. 
 
It was confirmed that a child was sent to hospital for assessment. Staff failed to report this reportable incident to Licensing within 24 hours.  
  
Therefore, a contravention to section 55 (2) (a) of the Child Care Licensing Regulation (Notification of illness or injury) was determined.  
Substantiated Contraventions: Evidence for this summary report is based on a combination of the Licensing Officer’s observations, a review of facility records and information provided by the facility staff at the time of the investigation.
