Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on July 23, 2021, regarding staffing concerns.
The following details were provided:
- The 3-5 program does not have appropriate staffing
- Fire drills are not practiced by staff but are recorded on the fire drill log form as completed

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews and observations.
Licensing determined the following contraventions:
-Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) section 22(2)(b) Emergency training and equipment
-Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) section 34(2)(b) Group sizes and employee to children ratios

Observation: Licensing determined that fire drills were not being conducted monthly.

Observation: Licensing determined that staff to child ratio was not always maintained.
