| Licensing received a complaint on December 16, 2022, regarding care and supervision, records and reporting, and hygiene and communicable disease control. The following details were provided: - Staff to child ratios are not being followed - Children not supervised at all times - The Manager uses inappropriate guidance - A child received injury from an employee All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews and observations. Licensing determined the following contraventions: - Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) section 15(1)(b) Furniture, equipment, and fixtures - CCLR section 19 (1) (a)(b)(f) Character and skill requirement - CCLR section 19 (5) (a)(b)(c) Character and skill requirement - CCLR section 34 (2) (b) Group sizes and employee to children ratios |
