Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received a complaint on October 10, 2023 regarding care and supervision.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews and a review of documentation.

It was confirmed that the staff made inappropriate comments to crying children, asked other staff not to comfort crying children, and that two staff yelled at children when guiding children’s behaviour.

Licensing determined that the following section of Child Care Licensing Regulation was contravened: section 51(1)(a), behavioural guidance.
