 Underlying Problems: Surface lake source with no disinfection. | |
| Steps Taken to Remedy: Customers advised verbally and by signs to boil their drinking water. Customers are provided bottled water for drinking, bruishing teeth and washing fruits/vegetables eaten raw. | |
| Corrective Actions Remaining: Operator must either drill a potable well or install disinfection equipment. Operator has submitted construftion permit application to Public Health Engineer which is currently under review. Filtration and UV system has been installed, however still needs to be approved. System to remain on BWN until treatment system has been approved by PHE and submit two consecutive satisfactory samples at least 24 hrs apart. . |
