| 313 | Inadequate treatment Observation: Current means of disinfection is by a Trojan UV Max unit which lacks a UV intensity monitor and solenoid shut off. This prevents operator from being aware as to whether the water is receiving adequate dose at all times. Corrective Action: Action required: Confirm if existing unit is capable of being upgraded to meet NSF Standard SSA certification, and if so, complete upgrade prior to opening water system for 2012 season. If unit cannot be upgraded, have unit replaced with approved unit under a construction permit issued by Northern Health. |
