All surface water sources in BC must be adequately disinfected to destroy natural and man-made sources of harmful organisms. Corrective Action: Effective immediately, lodge must be operated under Boil Water Advisory conditions whereby all guests are advised to boil all water for domestic use. (1 minute at rolling boil is adequate). Domestic use includes drinking, ice cubs, brushing teeth, etc.) Alternative to boiling water is to provide commercially bottled water. Cook staff in kitchen must also take care to wash vegetables using bottled or boiled water only. |
