Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
320   Other (specify below)
Observation: There is currently insufficient chlorine residual data being collected for the distribution system. The only location where residual data is being recorded is at the waste treatment plant.
Corrective Action: Measurements of the free and total chlorine residual need to be taken at least one more location to ensure residual data representative of the majority of the distribution system. In particular, it would be useful to know if some water users (e.g. fire hall) are receiving water with unacceptably high chlorine when the reservoir is filling, and if others (e.g. Byron Circle) are sometimes receiving water with no free chlorine residual.
320   Other (specify below)
Observation: An current version of the emergency response plan was provided during the inspection. The plan requires updates before it can be accepted.
Corrective Action: The updates required are: 1) A sign-off sheet should be included in the plan that holders of the plan will need to sign to confirm it has been read. 2) Procedures for responding to chemical contamination of the water supply should be included in the emergency situations section of the plan. A “Do Not Use Notice” template should also be added to the appendix.
