Observation: At the time of inspection (4th of August, 2017), the most recent received water sample is from the 12th of April, 2017. Monthly samples are required as per permit conditions. Discussed the situation with the operators. A member of staff who ran the water system recently left.
Corrective Action: Please submit monthly microbiological samples from now onwards. Sampling instructions will be emailed to the operators with this report. These samples can be dropped off at Fort Saint James Health Unit (121-250 Stuart Drive) on Wednesdays between 08:30 and 14:00 (although the health unit is closed from 12:00 until 13:00). Alternatively, samples can be dropped off at Vanderhoof Health Unit (3299 Hospital Rd) on Mondays to Fridays, at 08:30 until 15:00 00 (although the health unit is closed from 12:00 until 13:00).

Observation: Area around well is overgrown with 2-3 feet high grass. Long grass can provide harbourage for pests so grass around the well should be kept short.
