Comments:
As a follow up to our meeting, the conditions of you Permit to Operate have been changed and now include the following: Implement your Cross-Connection Control Plan. Maintain the Uni-Directional Flushing Program annually. Maintain a Drinking Water Quality Sampling Program as prescribed. Minimum bacteriology sampling frequency is 25 per month (distribution). Implement the Ground Water Resource Protection Plan. Review the Emergency Response Plan and update annually. Blackcomb Creek source may not be used without prior authorization from VCH. Develop a Source Protection Plan for 21 Mile Creek supply (reference CS2TA Guidelines). Draft plan due Dec.31, 2014. The bacteriological sample range report for 2013 indicates satisfactory water quality was maintained within the distribution system throughout the year. Of the 455 samples submitted for analysis, three (0.66%) were positive for total coliform bacteria. We look forward to your review of options for developing and implementing a cross connection control program, and note that by-law development is anticipated to be completed this year. Thank you for your update on the master water planning process as well as confirming the inactive status of Blackcomb Creek source. Please review your Emergency Response and Contingency Plan and provide an updated electronic copy for our records.
