Comments:

As per previous reports, the food and drink served within the Pan Pacific Suite is catered from the Dubh Linn Gate Pub downstairs. No food processing occurs within the space. The service area is comprised of 3 coolers used to store condiments, bottled drinks and surplus food during longer events as well as a small service room equipped with sink and dishwasher that is not operational. The sink is equipped with liquid soap and paper towel dispensers for hand washing and all the refrigeration units measured 4C or less. There were no concerns with general sanitation or maintenance of the facility.

Since all food and drink served is catered and there is no food processing on site It may be feasible to have the operating permit lifted from this premise. This was discussed with operator at time of inspection. Alternatively, if the operator would like to retain the operating permit, it is now time to review and update the food safety plan and sanitation plan since the nature of food service has changed significantly from when the facility was first permitted.
