Observation: The room near the reception desk now has ice cream freezer and dairy cooler in it. This room is carpeted.
Corrective Action: The flooring in a food premies must be smooth, non absorbent and easily cleanable. Please remove the carpet and provide a smooth and easily cleanable finish on the floor. Alternatively, operator can remove the freezer and dairy cooler and store only prepackaged, non potentially hazardous foods in it. Target completion date 3 months from the date of this inspection.
604   Adequate handwashing stations at convenient locations are available for employees (Sec 21 (4))
Observation: The breakfast room sink has no soap and paper towel available.
Corrective Action: Provide soap and paper towel in the breakfast room sink to encourage hand washing by the patrons and the employees.

Comments:

Routine inspection. Discussed the results of this inspection with the manager.

- Refrigeration temperatures are 4 degree or below.
- Freezer temperatures < -18 degree Celsius.
- Mechanical dishwasher is providing >50 ppm chlorine in the rinse cycle.
- General cleanliness is satisfactory.
- 200 ppm quat sanitizer available from the dispenser.
- As per information provided by the manager,the food service supervisor is foodsafe certified.
- No signs of any pest infestation.
- Food storage practices are satisfactory.
- Thermometers available in the fridges.
- Hand washing station in the kitchen has soap and paper towel available.
