Observation: At the time of the inspection the walk in coolers and freezers were overcrowded and many items were being stored on the floor.
Corrective Action: Please ensure turnover of storage is adequate enough so that walk in coolers and freezers are do not get overcrowded and so that all storage is kept at least six inches off the ground. If there is too many items in a fridge or freezer it will not only become hard to clean but also restricts proper airflow in the fridge or freezer making it hard for the unit to maintain temperature. Additionally, this contributes to wear and tare on the motor. Having storage six inches off the ground ensures that the floors are easy to clean, contributing to easier maintenance of the premises.
