Observation: The line cooler underneath the burger grill has still not been repaired and does not reach 4 degrees celsius or below as rquired by the food premises regulation.
Corrective Action: Ensure that the cooler is repaired and reaches 4 degrees celsius or below. Do not store any potentially hazardous foods in the cooler until it is properly repaired. It is evident that the heat from the grill is affecting the cooler temperature in this area. Some suggestions to solve this problem include - simply adjusting the temperature of the main compressor, increasing the airflow to this area, providing some kind of additional insulating barrier, or removing the cooler from this area and relocating some additional cooling space nearby. Repair the cooler or remove it from service - reinspection December 20th, 2011.

Comments:

Follow-up inspection conducted this date to follow up on the malfunctioning line cooler and the coffee area. The old coffee area cabinet has been replaced with a stainless steel table that is smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable.
