The following items have been addressed since last inspection:
118. 1) Wood cover over ceiling vent, has been sealed, to provide a surface that is non-absorbent and easily cleaned.
2) New dishwasher has been installed. Dishwasher sanitizing rinse recorded 190F = good.
Other items noted at time of inspection (meets regulatory requirements):
- Refrigeration temps recorded below 4C = good.
- Freezer temperatures recorded -17C = good.
- Foods well organized, covered, protected from cross-contamination.
- New handwash sink installed in front food prep area.
- Liquid handsoap and paper towels provided at handwash sinks = good.
- New wooden sushi rice bowl has been purchased.
- Sushi display fridge emptied and cleaned nightly.
- Trans-Fat regulations reviewed with operator.
- Carney's garbage bin cleaned on regular basis. Garbage bag's sealed tightly, to prevent pest problems. Garbage area clean and maintained.
