Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Repeat Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Combined chlorine and pH were measured outside the regulatory requirements. Public Health significance - High pH and combined chlorine can cause irritation and reduce the effectiveness of disinfectants. Corrective Action: Adjust the water chemistry so that the combined chlorine and pH are within the regulatory requirements. Patrons should not be allowed into the pool until this has been completed. |
202 | Non-compliance with Operating Permit Conditions Observation: During 2022, microbiologically pool samples were not submitted during December, September, July, May, and January. Corrective Action: Facility's operating permit conditions requires microbiological testing to be done at least once a month. |
205 | Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests Observation: Operators only measure chemistry once per day in the morning. Alkalinity is rarely tested. Corrective Action: pH, Free Available Chlorine, Combined Chlorine, and Total Chlorine must be measured at least twice per day. Alkalinity must be measured at least once per week, and Calcium hardness should be be measured oncer per week. |
