401  Critical Inadequate concentration of disinfectant
Observation: Free chlorine measured at 9.25 mg/L. Total chlorine measured at 7.72 mg/L = Combined chlorine at 1.53 mg/L.
Corrective Action: The combined chlorine needs to be kept at less than 1 mg/L to avoid bather respiratory irritation. 50 ml of dechlor was added during the inspection.
407  Critical Inadequate depth markings
Observation: No markings on hot tub steps and seating edge.
Corrective Action: Hot tub steps and seating edge must also be marked by contrasting colours.
420   Inadequate daily maintenance records
Observation: Maintenance records are recorded but not reporting when measurements are out of parameters.
Corrective Action: All maintenance work must be recorded on log book. eg. Chemical tests, backwashes, shocking, other maintenance etc.
