Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101  Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Stabilized chlorine is being used as the main disinfecting agent. This is not appropriate for indoor pools. The stabilizer (cyanuric acid) had reached excessively high levels, rendering chlorine ineffective to disinfect the pool water.
Corrective Action: Unstabilized chlorine must be used for indoor pools. Switch to another product containing chlorine without cyanuric acid such as calcium hypochlorite. Drain pool immediately and refill with fresh water.
104  Critical Improper Turnover of Flow Rate
Observation: Flow meters for the pool recirculation system are not functional. These are essential for determining if the pool water is recirculated at the proper turnover rate.
Corrective Action: Repair or replace flow meters.
205  Critical Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests
Observation: Pool test records indicated that free available chlorine was nearly absent or not detected at all. Pool test kit is missing many essential re-agents to ensure levels of chlorine, pH, and alkalinity are within the required parameters. Test strips were used as a test substitute, but this is not a suitable method for accurate and regular testing of commercial pools.
Corrective Action: A test kit with the proper supplies of re-agents must be made available on site.
305   Improper Maintenance of Pool Surface, Walkways, Floors and/or Construction
Observation: Skimmer weirs are missing in the main pool basin. These flaps are essential for skimming debris and oils from the top layer of pool water.
Corrective Action: Replace skimmer weirs.
