Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
306 | Improper Handrails, Ladders, and/or Diving Boards Observation: The handrail in front of the sauna room was loose as it can shifted while holding onto it. This is in violation of the pool regulation, section 11(2)(p), that states an operator must ensure that handrails at step are secure. The public health hazard is swimmers may fall and injure themselves if grabbing onto loose handrail. Corrective Action: Ensure handrail is secure and tightened by Sept 2016. The operator was aware of fixing the hand rail as it will be fixed in Sept 2016. As my practicum ends on August 12, 2016. I can only do follow up on August 10. |
