Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101   Repeat Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: The free chlorine concentration is good, however, the combined chlorine is 1.19ppm - it should be maintained less than (<) 1ppm. Combined chlorine is calculated by subtracting the free chlorine from the total chlorine. Combined chlorine is already bound to the organics in the pool and is not useful as well as being harmful for indoor air quality, eye irritation.
Corrective Action: A combined chlorine greater than 1ppm requires shocking the pool - please refer to your "Swimming Pool Operators Course" manual for directions.
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: pH is 7.99 - This continues to be high and needs to be lowered.
Corrective Action: Needs to be lowered.
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Cyanuric Acid is 48ppm. This should continue to come down as long as no stabilized chlorine is added.
Corrective Action: Do not add stabilized chlorine.
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Total alkalinity is 159ppm - this has come down since yesterday, but needs to come down below 120ppm.
Corrective Action: Needs to come down below 120ppm.
201   Operating without a Permit
Observation: This is a reminder the permit fee has not been paid
Corrective Action: See attached invoice
203   Repeat Inadequate or Lack of up-to-date Pool Safety Plan
Observation: Please complete Pool Safety Plan!
Corrective Action:
205   Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests
Observation: Operator says chlorine is added in the morning about 2 hours before opening. Pool chemistry levels are checked in the morning.
Corrective Action: Please start following the required minimum testing frequency as outlined on the back of page one of this report.
