Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
402 | Critical Inadequate pH controls Observation: Due to manual addition of bleach the pH remains excessively high @ approximately 8.5. At this pH only approximately 10% of the chlorine is in a form that disinfects effectively. Poor disinfection increases the risk of transmission of infectious diseases. Corrective Action: Must be corrected. |
413 | Critical Other (specify below) Observation: Continued violation of Order issued August 2005 regarding lack of automatic disinfection equipment. August 2005 Order stands. Corrective Action: A new Order will be issued as of today to submit plans/drawings of chlorination system to Michael Wu for approval by April 18/06. Installation of approved design by May 2/06. |
417 | Inadequate maintenance of pool equipment Observation: Step markings on hot tub are wearing off. Corrective Action: These need to be repainted. |
