A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

101  Critical Repeat Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: pH was measured at higher than 8.4.
Corrective Action: The hot tub was immediately closed to the public and warning tape was set up around the perimeter. Adjust water chemistry so that pH is maintained at between 7.2 to 7.8. A follow up action will be conducted in the week on July 15, 2019 to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
208   Improper Maintenance of Records
Observation: Water chemistry records were not properly recorded and water chemistry was not tested using the appropriate tools. Records indicated the same reading on each water parameter across the hot tub and pool. The pool water chemistry was tested by using the Insta-TEST® Pool and Spa Test Strips. Operator stated that the Taylor test kit on site was not efficient and takes a long time.
Corrective Action: Water chemistry must be tested using the appropriate tools to record the exact concentration or reading of different parameters. Purchase the necessary tools as required to facilitate this process.
306   Improper Handrails, Ladders, and/or Diving Boards
Observation: Handrail at the hot tub was loose at the time of the inspection.
Corrective Action: Handrail must be tightened up to prevent it from further deterioration.
401   Note Violation
Observation: Flow meters at both the jet system and hot tub recirculation system were either not working or missing.
Corrective Action: Flow meters must be properly installed at the hot tub's recirculation system. All flow meters must be working appropriately to facilitate the monitoring of water velocity flowing through the pipes.
