High chlorine levels can be very irritating on a person’s skin, eyes and respiratory system. It can cause red itchy skin, red itchy eyes, and effect the lungs in a negative way. It could also be corrosive. Corrective Action: Ensure that FAC is maintained at ideal range of 3-5 PPM. Ensure to test the water chemistry data every 2-4 hours to ensure that water chemistry data is maintained within the required range. |
