Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101  Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: The free available chlorine of the leisure pool at a temperature of 33.4°C was measured to be 1.25 ppm, 1.22 ppm, and 1.12 ppm at three different test location. The average disinfectant level was calculated as 1.20 ppm, which is less than the required concentration (minimum 1.5 ppm) for a pool of >30°C. (Health Significance) – Low disinfectant levels at higher pool temperatures can increase the risk of waterborne diseases due to a higher chlorine demand (caused by faster depletion of free chlorine). A higher concentration of free chlorine is required to maintain adequate disinfection.
Corrective Action: Ensure disinfectant level is maintained at 1.5 ppm or higher.
205   Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests
Observation: Some of the pool reagents for the Taylor test kit were past their expiry date. (Significance) - Expired reagents can give inaccurate results when used to test water chemistry (ie. pH, free chlorine, etc.) and must be replaced before their expiry date.
Corrective Action: Ensure test kits are maintained, and reagents are replaced before expiration.
