(Public health significance) Water alkalinity should be maintained at a level no less than 80 ppm and no more than 120 ppm. High alkalinity can cause pH drift , increased acid demand and scaling of the pool equipment and parts. Corrective Action: Adjust and monitor water alkalinity levels between 80-120 ppm. |
