Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Alkalinity was measured at 42 ppm during inspection; operator was already aware after their tests in the morning. Public Health Significance - alkalinity is the capacity of the whirlpool water's to resist changes in pH. Having alkalinity within the regulatory range of 80-120 ppm will assist the operator in maintaining a relatively stable pH to prevent corrosion (low pH) or scaling (high pH) within the basin and circulation system, irritation of the eyes or skin of patrons, and provide adequate disinfection.
Corrective Action: Operator agreed to add sodium bicarbonate to the basin in the evening to bring alkalinity levels within regulatory requirements. Operator also agreed that the alkalinity should be tested daily until they can determine the best course of action to maintain levels of 80-120 ppm on a consistent basis.
