Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Free available chlorine, pH and alkalinity are not within the required range. Free available chlorine must be greater than 1ppm. pH must be between pH 7.2 to 7.8 and alkalinity must be 80ppm - 120ppm. Corrective Action: Operator is in the process of adjusting these parameters to the appropriate ranges and will not open pool until in desired range. |
205 | Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests Observation: Logs are being kept for chlorine and pH. However, operator is not testing or keeping alkalinity records. Corrective Action: Alkalinity must be tested weekly and records must be kept for these tests. Alkalinity is an important parameter for pool chemistry balance. |
