303 | Critical Improper Condition Causing Suction or Entrapment Hazard Observation: Main drain cover was broken in deep end of the pool. Operator had been aware of this and had assigned lifeguards to watch area to ensure safety of patrons. Operator had originally intended to fix cover during shut down occuring on Tuesday, May 23rd 2017. Corrective Action: Pool was immediately closed at time of inspection with the recirculation system turned off. Operator to ensure patrons do not use this pool until after the main drain cover has been repaired with a maindrain cover of the same make/model. Pool must also be rebalanced. Please contact PHP at 250 263 6000 when this is done to receive approval to reopen. |
