101 | Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Hot tub water chemistry was measured. Cyanuric acid was found to be higher than 200 ppm, pH was at 7.29, free chlorine at 3.79 and total chlorine higher than 5 ppm (limit of testing kit) Corrective Action: The operator was told to switch to use unstablized chlorine as the hot tub does not have direct exposure to sunlight. The operator has unstablized chlorine available on site. The operator started the draining procedure for the hot tub during the time of the inspection and refill it to rectify the issue. Hot tub must be re-balanced before opening it to the public. |
