Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Combined chlorine concentration exceeded 1.0ppm. Corrective Action: Combined chlorine concentration must be maintained below 1.0ppm. Close pool immediately. Breakpoint chlorinate as soon as possible. Before reopening, rebalance pool and verify proper water chemistry parameters. If CAC concentrations often exceed 1.0ppm, then consider upgrading treatment system to include UV, or consider using an oxidizing chemical (eg. Potassium Monopersulfate). Approval from the local Environmental Health Officer must be granted before any significant changes are made to the treatment system. Pool closure confirmed. Retested pool FAC/TAC after one hour (without any reported addition of chemicals), CAC levels measured below 1.0ppm according to operator's test kit. Our test kit showed CAC concentrations at 1.5ppm. Operator was permitted to reopen the pool until the end of the day. |
