Pools must maintain a residual of at least 0.5ppm (1 - 3ppm recommended) in order to not pose a biological hazard to patrons. Corrective Action: Do not allow anyone into pool until chlorine residual is present in pool at least 0.5ppm. Operator had loaded chlorine tablets into feeder at time of inspection. |
205 | Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests Observation: Pool Safety Plan is still in process of being written. This plan includes procedures for operating emergency response, equipment lists etc. in order to ensure staff guide in how to operate the pool safety. Corrective Action: Please send what has been written to Dilavar.Rana@northernhealth.ca and have a complete written plan for workers by June 30, 2015 |
