Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: The pH was found to be less than 6.5. The pH must be between 7.2 and 7.8. Low pH can result in inadequate disinfection, algae growth, and an increased risk of waterborne diseases. Corrective Action: Raise pH level and maintain it between 7.2 and 7.8 |
101 | Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: The Free Available Chlorine was found to be 0 ppm. In pools with temperature greater than 30 C must be 1.5 ppm. It is recommended that the FAC for hot tubs be maintained between 3 and 5 ppm. The pool was closed immediately by the operator and a sign was posted to inform the public. Corrective Action: Rais the FAC to greater than 1.5 ppm - Test the FAC to verify that it is greater than 1.5 ppm before reopening the pool. |
